properly located. This helps protect your home, our crew, and the utilities on your property.
As the homeowner, you are responsible for having all private utility lines located and
marked. A private utility is a utility that you, as the homeowner, are responsible for from the point of
connection to the location on your property.
Gas Lines
Who can help? A plumber or qualified gas-line installer can locate and mark these lines.
Water Lines
Water lines running from your home to the water meter need to be located and marked.
Who can help? A plumber can assist with locating these lines.
Outdoor Lighting

assume a line is not present.
Helitech is responsible for having public utilities located before your project begins.
Our Utility Specialist will contact the appropriate underground utility locating service
before our crew arrives.

Please Watch for Utility Markings
If you notice that the utility markings have faded, been damaged, or had flags removed
after the locating service has been completed, please contact Helitech Customer Care.
We will arrange for the utilities to be re-marked before the crew arrives.
