Scheduling Annual Check-up

  • Conduct a comprehensive interior and exterior inspection to assess structural integrity and any systems in place.
  • Measure humidity levels, inspect dehumidifiers, clean filters, and check for water intrusion.
  • Verify proper grading and water management in the yard.

Foundation Repair

Where applicable:

  • Verify benchmarks on both stabilized and non-stabilized foundation walls.
  • Replace or add benchmarks as necessary for accuracy.
  • Examine floor joists, bolts, sill plates, support posts, and beams for structural soundness.
  • Check sub-floors for stability and check for signs of potential mold or mildew.

Waterproofing

Where applicable:

  • Perform water tests to ensure proper system flow and functionality.
  • Check downspouts, gutters, pop-ups, and exit points for blockage.
  • Inspect and clean box drains and exterior sump pumps.
  • Test sump pump operations, including the function of float systems.
  • Clean sump pumps of sediment and ensure proper operation of the float systems.
  • Cycle and water test sump pumps, and check the battery backup system.
  • Inspect all interior PVC connections and assess humidity levels in the basement.
  • Inspect encapsulation liners and dehumidifiers to ensure optimal functionality.

Transfer of Warranty

Membership in the Helitech Assurance Program is not transferable and should be canceled at the time you sell your home. We recommend that you provide the new homeowner our contact to set up their own Assurance Program membership and complete the transfer of warranty if applicable.
